If any sentence has started in the Past and Continous in the Present that is called Present Perfect Continuous Tense.

 

⇒ Affirmative

S+has/have+been+v¹+ing+for/since+time
  • He has been sleeping since 1‘O’clock.
  • I have been playing since morning.
  • He has been writing a letter for two hours.
  • He has been calling you since Monday.
  • She has been scolding him since morning.
  • He has been driving for two hours.

  • He has not been studying since 2 ‘O’clock.
  • We have not been playing since morning.
  • He has not been writing a letter for two hours.
  • He has not been calling you since Monday.

Present Perfect Continuous

Rule 1

After the Subject (has been or have been) is used. with the singular subject has been used and with the plural have been will be used.

With the main verb, we add Ing.
Before the time for and since is used.
Use of For – For (Period of time)
For seven days For two hours, For three months.

 

Since ‘ का प्रयोग निश्चित समय  ( period of time ) के लिए होता है घड़ी का समय (बजे) दिन का नाम दिन व तारीख महीने का नाम सं… आदि के के साथ ‘since’ का प्रयोग किया जाता है

Positive sentence:

S+has been/have been+v¹+ing+for/since+time
  • I have been reading this book since morning.
  • Pooja has been cooking Since evening.
  • They have been watching the show for two hours.
  • He has been weeping for three hours.

 

Rule 2

Negative sentence (नकारात्मक ) में not हमेशा been के पहले आता है अर्थात  has/have के बाद आता है दूसरे शब्दों  में not को has/have ओर been के बीच मे लगाया  जाता है। 

Formula

S+has/have+not+been+v¹+ing+object+Since/for+time.

 Example

  • I have not been reading this novel since morning.
  • Nita has not been cooking food since evening
  • They have not been watching the show for two hours.
  • Dhoni has not been playing cricket for the last 23 years.

 Rule 3

⇒ Interrogative sentence 

Start with Has/have.
Use of subject after the has/have.
use of been before the Ing verb.

 

⇒ Interrogative प्रश्नवाचक 

Formula

Has/have+sub+been+v¹+ing+obj+since/for+time.

 Example

  •  Have I been reading this book since morning?
  •  Has Rekha been cooking food since evening?
  •  Have they been watching the show for two hours.?

⇒ Double Interrogative

Formula

Wh-word+has/have+s+not+been+v¹+ing+obj+since/for+time?

Example-: Positive

  • Why has Rekha been cooking food since evening?
  • Why have I been working in this company for three years?

Negative

  • Why have we not been living in Delhi since January?
  • Why have I not been working in this company for three years?
